Gorge Paddling Center - Paddleboard & Kayak Rentals Hood River

Had a fantastic time. Our guide Andre was very fun, informative about the wildlife and easy to talk to. It was my first time out in the water with a kayak but he was very patient and helpful. Views and nature were spectacular, even had some extra time to play with the rope swing. Would definitely recommend.

A lovely paddle up the peaceful Wind river and just a taste of the wild Columbia at the end if you liked. Guide Andre was full of information about the sites and animals. Great coaching for the beginner kayakers out there too, we had a wonderful time! Nothing like being on the water!

We selected the evening kayak trip on the Wind River then the sunset view on the Columbia River. It was spectacular. Josh our guide did a great job leading us up river and telling us about some of the sights. At the half way point we got out on shore and skipped some rocks while we stretched our legs. The boats were top notch and life vests were provided. Josh also took our photos in a few scenic spots and then air dropped them at the end of the trip. We highly recommend them for your adventure.
